New York – June 23, 2015 –It’s time to get your rock on as Dolltits, an all-girl band born and bred in NYC, debuts at the Coney Island Freak Bar on Saturday, June 27, at 10 p.m. The performance is part of Coney Island USA’s “Burlesque at the Beach” show.

Dolltits is a band made up of three gals who will blow you away. They write songs, play music and have doll tits. Their style is along the lines of acoustic riot grrrl cuntry-punk. No, nothing is misspelled in the previous sentence. Dolltits is what results when you combine elements of riot grrl emotion, feminism, country and good old-fashioned awesomeness. Men and women alike enjoy listening to Dolltits.

The ladies of Dolltits are: Barbara Russo on vocals and guitar; Magie Serpica on vocals, ukulele, autoharp and keys; and the legendary Therina Bella on vocals, guitar, autoharp, keys, ukulele and various other noisy things.

The band is a brainchild of NYC musician, composer and music instructor, Therina Bella. She dreamed of starting a collaborative all-girl band that would kick ass. With the help of her two musician friends, Magie Serpica and Barbara Russo, Dolltits is her dream come true. The girls pen personal, poignant, quirky, funny and often times snarky songs about their lives, life in general, and personal struggles.

“Three of us each suffered through some very unfortunate individual circumstances at the start of 2015, and they happened all at once to each of us. Dolltits is a way for us to take our misfortune and the destruction that we endured in our personal lives and turn that negativity into something creative, therapeutic, and ultimately extremely fun and entertaining for us,” Therina said. “We hope everyone out there enjoys our music and gets a little something out of it.”

Dolltits is currently writing and recording their debut full length album.
