Defending Wildlife On The Boardwalk

On this sunny but somewhat chilly Sunday afternoon,we were on the boardwalk searching for the ideal person to profile for our Boardwalk Banter segment. We ended up talking with a member of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

What do you do?

I help clean the beach from plastic and waste so it doesn’t enter the ocean. Marine wildlife will eat these products which they can’t digest.

Paul Watson founded the non-profit Sea Shepherd Conservation Society over 30 years ago.

It’s mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
