The listing was taken down for a while. It was recently reposted.

  3. I saw the exact same listing there a few months ago. I also saw it years ago when they bought it.

Now that the summer months are approaching it looks like they are agressively marketing the property once again. The Grashorn Building listing was taken down. I was told that they are leasing Smorgasburg’s Shipping Containers this season on W.12 and Surf. Most likely a hotel will eventually be rising at that location. Soon W.12th will have a total makeover.

  5. Definitely needs hotels but I am skeptical that it will be anytime soon. Also needs a movie theater. Ecstatic about the Amphitheater this year and the New Aquarium next year. Schron’s shopping mall on Neptune will be a welcome year round addition. In actuality that shopping mall is most important. Nothing else in progress has that type of potential for extensive year round economic activity. Probably 2 years away. Will likely be developed in stages.
