Enterprise Returns To Coney?

Who remembers the flat spinning Enterprise ride at Astroland Park? After the closing of Astroland Park the ride was sent down to the Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

The ride which was named after the USS Enterprise from the Sci-Fi  Star Trek series was made popular in the early 1970’s by HUSS Park Attractions and TECHNO PRODUCTIONS. The Enterprise landed at Astroland Park in 1976.

What we hear is that an Enterprise “type” ride will be debuting in Coney Island for the summer of 2015. The new amusement will be replacing a “towering” attraction located near the boardwalk.

Which ride would you like to see returned to Coney?

  1. Definitely the hell hole

  2. Reopen the parachute jump get a big corporation like google or fb or Pepsi or Coke some other giant to run and sponsor it with their name on it just like lifesaver candy did in the past . Great advertizement , and it will become a huge hit for NYC , people will come from all over just to go on it . This is a no brainer .
