Generation Gap Hosts Masquerade Ball

The Coney Island Generation Gap will be hosting a Masquerade Ball on December 4, 2014 at the Rex Manor.

The Generation Gap is a non profit organization run by executive director Pam Harris. The Generation Gap helps serve the youth of Coney Island by helping them realize their physical, social, and mental abilities while keeping them out of trouble with the law.

The Generation Gap hosts the very popular annual Soap Box Derby at Kaiser Park. The students also collaborate on creating film documentaries. Including the award winning Stop the Violence campaign. They work with local schools to teach computer skills, how to use sound boards, making movies, and also educating our youth on copyright laws.

They are also looking for people to donate gift baskets to be raffled off for the event which will raise money so that 20 young members of the community will be able to travel for spring break.

The cost to attend the Masquerade Ball is $100 per guest.

RSVP by November 12, 2014.
