After learning about Portnoy’s fund the world’s oldest hot dog brand, Feltman’s of Coney Island, LLC stepped up by donating $1,000 to the cause. In return others have been inspired to donate. Inspired by Feltman’s generosity Barstool Sports fanatic Jimmy Cafiero donated a whopping $5,000 of his own money to the cause! Jimmy replied with a tweet saying ” it all started with a tweet from a hot dog company.” Other donations followed. Including another $5,000 from the DUDEwipes company featured on ABC’s Shark Tank.

Operated by mostly veterans, Feltman’s has been donating to fellow veterans as well as front line workers throughout 2020. The super generous hot dog company was founded shortly after the Civil War by Charles Feltman in Coney Island, NY. It was Feltman who actually invented the hot dog in 1867.

Feltman’s of Coney Island is the fastest growing hot dog brand in America sold in over 5,000 supermarkets nationwide and sold via e-commerce at FeltmansHotDogs.com.
