Man Found Dead on Coney Island Boardwalk

Sadly, a man in his early 50’s was found dead on the Riegelmann boardwalk in Coney Island  on Wednesday afternoon, according to police sources.

The man was discovered fully clothed with no visible trauma or injury to his body at 2 p.m. at the boardwalk near W. 23 St., NYPD sources said.

The medical examiner’s office still needs to determine the cause of death.
