Coney Island Art Weekend

Coney Island USA’s Sodom by the Sea Salon continues this weekend through February 7th 2016 at the Arts Annex at 1214 Surf ave. The art exhibit showcases Coney inspired photos and art spanning from 2008-present. The exhibit is open Saturdays and Sunday 1-4:30pm.

We encourage you to support the artists by purchasing their work. Artwork starts at $50. For those who purchase art you may tag us your pictures on Instagram @ TheConeyIslandBlog. Send us pictures of purchased artwork and we will post them on out Twitter and Facebook pages.

If you didn’t get your fill of Coney art visit the Brooklyn Museum for the Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008 which opens today and runs through March 13, 2016.

On November 21st at 2pm Coney Island’s Sideshow performers will be holding a forum at the museum. The event is free with museum admission.

The Brooklyn Museum is located at 200 Eastern Pkwy. Opened 11am Wednesday-Sunday, closes at 6pm (Thurs. 10pm)
