Help Long Beach Brewing Company

What Totonno’s Pizza is to Coney Island, Brooklyn, Lenny and John’s Pizza is to Flatlands, Brooklyn. One of the greatest guys we know, Lenny and John’s Pizzeria owner Danny Scandiffio, is making his sud soaked dreams of beer brewing into a legitimate reality.

On March 7, 2015 Danny and his partners made a splash at Peggy O’Neill’s Beer-Brewing Competition when their home made brew placed a respectable 3rd in the first annual contest which raised money for Coney Island USA’s arts programming.

Now Long Beach Brewing Company needs our help. They have recently put together a Kickstarter campaign which is currently at 12K. They have two weeks to reach their goal of $25,000.

Fun Facts: Coney Island’s Dreamland was owned by William H. Reynolds. At the turn of the last century Reynolds made Long Beach, L.I. into a resort town. In 1914 Reynolds deployed out of work elephants that once performed at Dreamland’s Circus to help build Long Island’s new boardwalk. Reynolds Channel was also named after the State Senator and Coney Island Amusement Park owner.
