Bernie Sanders to Visit Coney Island Tomorrow

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be visiting Coney Island’s famed boardwalk tomorrow for a rally. The Brooklyn born Sanders is no stranger to the area, visiting the beach and amusement area as a young boy with his brother. Sanders spent his formative years in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. He went to Madison High School, which has graduated more nationally recognized political alumni than any school in the country. U.S. Senator Charles Schumer (visited Coney Island two weeks ago) Judge Judy and famed music photographer Marcia Resnick are a few of the notible alumni. Actually Resnick graduated #2 in her class right below Schumer.

Bernie Sanders, along with members of his campaign, will be speaking on the boardwalk in front of the Thunderbolt Roller Coaster tomorrow Sunday, April 10 starting at 2:00pm. Please note that the Boardwalk between Stillwell Ave. and Kensington Walk will be shut down due to security measures in addition to West 15th Street between Surf Ave and the Boardwalk.

After the 2pm rally Sanders will be visiting Nathan’s Famous, traditionally known as a must stop for political hopefuls on the campaign trail.

  1. Need to change his visit title to “Bernie Sanders to Visit Coney Island To Spread Socialism”. Or “I’ll Give You Free Stuff For Your Vote”.
Hey it’s already worked for Obama.
Let’ not destroy the greatest country on Earth!

Len sounds like another Trump loon mouthing off on Bernie. The only presidential candidate bringing his (populist) message to the people in the streets of Brooklyn like a regular guy (Instead of coming to Brooklyn to just meet rich campaign donors in closed doors like Queen Hillary,or not at all like the republicans)
