Dear Readers,

Thanks for the love and support on my birthday today. Besides my family I love nothing more than working with my friends and colleagues in the Coney Island community. Serving on Community Board 13 over the years and working with this vibrant district has been and will continue to be a rewarding experience.

Over the next year I will continue to cover even more events and news stories in the Coney Island Blog. Thank you readers for making the Coney Island Blog such an overwhelming success!

I will continue to expand Coney Island Tours which is having it’s best season yet! Thanks to Luna Park!

I’m excited about bringing the Feltman’s name back! Coney Island or the hot dog wouldn’t have existed without Charles Feltman (1841-1910). Feltman’s of Coney Island brand hot dogs will be available for retail within the next week. Yes, we’re anticipating a permanent return to where it all started!

Please continue to support our officers at the 60th Precinct as well as our superstar elected officials Mark Treyger, Pam Harris and Chaim Deutsch.

Support the local businesses and non profits like Coney Island USA with their exceptional programming as well as the Alliance for Coney Island.

I feel really blessed on this birthday!
