Coney Island Hospital To Receive Much Needed Funding

According to Councilman Mark Treyger today, Coney Island Hospital will be receiving much needed funding to rebuild following Sandy.

“Just announced with Senator Schumer, Mayor de Blasio, Borough President Adams, CM Deutsch, and other officials that Sandy damaged city public hospitals will receive over $1.6 billion in recovery and resiliency funds! Coney Island Hospital will receive $923 million to rebuild and build new resilient critical services building and to start rebuilding Ida G Israel Health Clinic! Recovery takes a team and I also thank Congressman Jeffries for helping secure federal resources and Assemblyman Krasny for his ongoing support of the city’s rebuilding efforts.
